its tulip time here they were all looking good yesterday after last nights rain they are all laied down this morning

nearly another month has passed carnt believe were nearly half way through the year.... found this poem while on the net and really like it.... and because its world scrapbooking day tomorrow thought it would be nice to share..........


strangers in the box

come,look with me inside this drawer.
in this box,ive often seen.
at the pictures,black and white.
faces proud still serene,
i wish i new these people,
these strangers in the box,

their names and all there memories
are lost among my socks,
i wonder what ther lives were like,
how did they spend there days,
what about there special times,
i"ll never know ther ways,

if only someone had taken time
to tell who, what, where and when,
these faces of my heritage
would come to life again,

could this become the fate
of the pictures we take today?
the faces and the memories
some day will pass away,

make time to save your stories,
seize the opportunity when it knocks,
or someday you and yours could be
the strangers in the box

here are this weeks ebay bargaing books were a fiver and squrriles were £1.98 carnt believe i got such bargains

sunday 25th april baking day

it was a miserable morning so decided to do some baking before i cooked lunch..... sun out now and its a lovely afternoon so will go walking then back for tea and cakes yum yum!!!!!!

satuarday 24th april

wow where does the time go not done to much latley as have been busy in the garden.......its that time of year when theres so much sorting out to do seeds to sow cuttings to pot up .....anyway nearly up to date so thought i would make an alice in wonderland tag just adore these stamps can do so much with them...have just recieved the tom holtz tatteres angles die so will be making some flowers soon... need to keep myself busy right now as have been refered back to oncology as have a few suspect marks on my skin thats need taking off... just when you think that the melanoma is quiet the dam things starts up againbut hey ho theres a lot far worse than me and i have so much to be greatful for a wonderful partner who take care of me so im lucky really will post some of my flowers later if i dont go off to try my new goodies out that i recieved this week

we have new arrivals in the garden we thought we only had the one baby bunnie but..... low and behold we have seven there so cute but we have had to wire the garden as ther eating all the plants

where does the weeks go been busy this week doing some scrap booking piccys from last year first carboot of the season for us today!!!! am on the look out for buttons today as want to use more on my scrapbook pages..........its a beautiful sunny day so will be in the garden later
